Building Construction Technician

The Building Construction Technician certificate supplies the fundamental skills for entering the new and renovating construction industry.  Study will include hands-on operation of hand and power tools, printreading, materials used in residential construction, tool usage and safety instruction, and foundations and framing techniques used in residential construction with emphasis placed on “green” building techniques outlined by LEED principles.
