Fundamentals of Firefighting

This program will be the initial step in firefighter training. It introduces practical, hands-on skills needed to become a basic firefighter and training to the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1001 Standard for Firefighter Professional Qualifications. Subjects include: fire behavior, fire extinguishers, personal protective equipment, SCBA, ladders, fire hose, fire streams, search and rescue, interior fire attack, and self-survival.
