NUR 105 - Pharmacology for Nurses

Lec. 0.5 Lab. 1.5 Cr. 1
Prerequisite(s): Acceptance into the nursing program.  Accuplacer scores of 250-300 (QAS) and 200-255 (AAF) and (249 or greater in Reading or completion of RDG 100).
Corequisite(s): BIO 210 , NUR 102 , PSY 201 .
This course is an introduction to the basic concepts of pharmacology related to drug administration. Dosage calculations are covered as well as concepts of medication administration and an overview of drug categories.
