Prerequisite(s): ACCEPTANCE INTO THE PTA DEGREE PROGRAM (AAS).

Completion of MAT 101 and MAT 102 or Accuplacer placement scores of 250-300 (QAS) and 200-255 (AAF) and (249 or greater in Reading or completion of RDG 100).
Corequisite(s): BIO 210 , ENG 101 , MAT 120 , PTH 101 , PTH 205 , PTH 221 .
This course introduces the dynamics of the health professional/patient relationship and includes communication and principles of respectful interaction throughout the life cycle.
