Program Description: The Computer Technology associate degree program (AAS.CPT.NET) is designed to prepare competent, skilled graduates for entry-level positions in the information technology field. The program provides a comprehensive curriculum with a strong emphasis on networking, including courses in network design, installation, maintenance, and administration. Students in the networking concentration gain the skills needed to manage and secure computer networks in a variety of organizational settings. Successful completion of the networking courses may also prepare students for industry-recognized certifications, enhancing employability and readiness for technology-focused careers.

Students wanting to transfer to another college should consider taking SPC 205 as it will transfer as Public Speaking. Students taking ENG 260 may be able to transfer that class to another college, but most likely it will transfer as an elective. Students must take either one of these courses before taking their choice of CPT 118 or CPT 276. Select one of the following:
