The Computer Technology (CPT) associate degree program is designed to prepare competent, skilled graduates for entry-level positions in the information technology field. The Computer Technology program provides a comprehensive curriculum that offers courses in system analysis and design, applications, operating systems, database, and cybersecurity. In addition, students are provided with a choice of two areas of concentration. The networking concentration is designed for individuals seeking the skills needed to design, install, and maintain computer networks in all types of organizations. The programming/web design concentration provides individuals with skills in a variety of programming languages as well as in web design and the development of mobile apps. Successful completion of the courses in the Computer Technology degree may prepare students for industry certification exams.
