NUR 105 - Pharmacology for Nurses

Lec. 0.5 Lab. 1.5 Cr. 1
Prerequisite(s): Acceptance into the nursing program. Completion of  MAT 102  or COMPASS placement for MAT 120 , and completion of RDG 100  or COMPASS reading score of 88 or higher.
Corequisite(s): BIO 210 , NUR 102 , PSY 201 .
This course is an introduction to the basic concepts of pharmacology related to drug administration. Dosage calculations are covered as well as concepts of medication administration and an overview of drug categories.
